Welcome to the WhitneyDaily5bookstudy WikiEdit

Daily 5 - Fostering Literacy Independence in Elementary Grades by Gail Boushey and Joan Moser

Describe your topicEdit

Do you love teaching but feel exhausted from the energy you expend cajoling, disciplining, and directing students on a daily basis? If so, please join our book study, add to the on-line conversations, and earn a credit, too!

Whitney staff, to earn a credit please respond to at least one question set for each of the seven chapters (each chapter is on a new wikia page, listed above).  This is based off the original book, so topics may be in different chapters in the new edition.  To respond on each chapter's page, first click "sign up" in the top right corner and get your own user ID so your comments will have your name attached.  Then, scroll down and click in the comment box, type your response, and then click "Post comment".  Make sure to log in each time you want to post a comment.  Each chapter's page is linked to the next chapter's page.  Read the book and answer questions at your own pace, but all 7 posts need to be completed by August 18, 2014.  Start with Chapter 1:Introduction

Feel free to respond to more than one question set because it will only add to our Daily 5 community!  Thanks for participating!!!
